Lack of inspiration, vacation, busy days? How to keep your blog alive? There are many things you can consider, so keep on reading!
7 Tips for Becoming a Successful Blogger in 2020
My tips are the following:
Work In Advance
I love having draft! I have two kinds of draft: photos only (taking and editing photos takes longer than writing a post so I can lay back and finish my post whenever I have time) or publish-ready posts (I can post it anytime without changing a word). It feels good to know that I can publish an article whenever I want to, I can have breaks, “days off” and my readers will notice nothing. It has always worked and I can recommend this way of blogging.
WordPress and Blogger have this feature too, use it sometimes! You go on holiday but what if you’ll have no internet? Scheduled posts can be very useful! Life goes on without you being in front of the computer, your blog gets updated, your readers can be happy too.
You have to tell bloggers in advance that you’ll give them room on the future on your blog, so it has to be well planned but it is a good option too, it’s a win-win situation.
Ghost or Part Time Bloggers
You can always ask someone else to write some posts instead of you. If you don’t let your readers know it’s a ghost blogger, if you do then it’s a part time blogger.
Well, you can translate posts. If you find something interesting on a website but it is in a different language, you can translate it for your followers. Of course you should mention the source but you can turn the post into your ‘own’ if you add some extra information, your opinion etc.
Update Old Content
I’ve done it several times too. For example, you see that your “Tips For Bloggers” post was very popular but you wrote it 2 years ago. I’m sure you have some new ideas to share now, so you can make a Part 2 post!
Do Not Post
You can also let your readers know that you can’t post anything for a while, they’ll understand!
All the very very best
